LO4: Final Article

What we seek, we can find! Yoga has been around for as long as 5000 years ago and originated from India. There is no hard evidence to say yoga started this long ago however earliest archaeological evidence of Yoga's existence could be found in stone seals which depict figures of Yoga Poses.   Yoga teacher Lydia Ainscough will discuss her thoughts about yoga and questions many people ask her when they first join or are interested in joining yoga classes. Lydia has been teaching yoga for a couple years now and started while she was going through a very stressful year so thought yoga was the way to solve it. She works in a yoga studio called ‘Unity’ at Carver House in the heart of Sheffield, which began over a year ago and has become popular within the community. She also has her own Facebook page with over 500 likes and all 5 star reviews!   Yoga classes can sometimes be very expensive so it’s a good idea to start learning yoga at home in your own comfort, as a beg...

LO4: Regulation

Image
My article will be published in a magazine about health, so I will need to follow the editor’s code of practice. The first editor’s code of practice what would need to be regulated when reading through my article would be ‘Accuracy’ I need to make sure all information given in the article is accurate as I got information from how yoga helps our body from a survey it should all be quite accurate, as the people who participated in the yoga survey will know what it does. They get the information either from the internet of their yoga teacher etc. who have studied on what yoga does to help your body. I also got information from websites on where it was originated from http://www.tibetanlife.com/where-did-yoga-originate.html  I had to make sure I mention that there is no hard evidence as it is impossible to find out exactly when yoga came into place. The second regulation would be 'Privacy' because I need to make sure no information about ...

LO1; Understanding the news industry report **

It is beneficial using different platforms or news distribution because you get a wide range of stories about the same subject. It is good reading news on the web because you can comment on it and read what other people have said about it so is an advantage to the audience. The TV is useful to the audience because you can listen to how he news presenters are presenting he news to see how they represent different people and call tell if they say something about someone in a jokingly manner but if you were to read it online you might know it was a joke. All different news websites etc. cover a range of news and focus on what their target audience would like so ok magazine for example focus on gossip as their mode of address is peer to peer they use informal language.
