LO1: News Apps

• I dont use any paticular news apps but sometimes read stories on snapchat to check out the latest news
• Press Agency is an oranisation that gathers news reports and sells them to subscribing news institutions such as: newspapers, magazines, radio, television broadcasters
• An ideology is a set of opinins, beliefs or value system of a paticular group.
• Mode of address is how a media product engages and speaks to its target audience, he formal and informal modes of address are present in any texts
• Peer to peer: Speaks to others as equals and often in an informal manner, this is usually in gossip magazines. In ok magazie they use address Callum with is first name which is informal

• Teacher to Pupil: Instructional and the conent is educating the audience. The bbc use teacher to pupil methods as they address Trump as 'mr' or his first name too shows they are formal.

• Parent to child: Less educaional and more informative than teacher to pupil, This is commanding
• Liguistic conventions: These are te words and phrases used as part of a style or genre of jounralism- for example magazine articles can be writen usin collequial terms
• Colloquial terms are used in ordiary or familar conversation; not formal or literary.

Mode of address is so important in journalism because it should depend on what type of magazine it is and if you speak with linguistic or collequial terms to relate to your audience. If the magazine was teacher to pupil then it should be appropriate and if you want to be taken seriously it should sound proffesional however if the magazine was gossip you can talk informal because the target audience would relate
